Description
Villa Jolanda is an ancient manor villa dating back to the early 1900s, built by the Piazza family who exclusively used it as their family residence until 1960. In that year, the property was donated to the Casa di Procura of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of Castres. Due to a lack of vocations, the nuns ceased to use and maintain the property, which, partially degraded, was sold in 2009 to the company Villa Jolanda S.r.l.
The current project involves the recovery and restoration of the property with the creation of 7 high-end apartments. A fundamental part of the project is the general reorganization of the garden, integrating the adjacent and currently degraded land to create enjoyable outdoor spaces for the villa's condominiums. This will be possible by creating a series of themed paths and areas that encourage the user to explore the interior garden and not just the areas closest to their apartments. In doing so, the design goal has been to maintain a natural and harmonious appearance, recovering the degraded elements and integrating a small bioclimatic pond into the garden.
