Hotel Miramare

Description

The Miramare is a hotel, restaurant, and cocktail bistro located on the seafront in the center of Rapallo, just a stone's throw from the sea, in a central and strategic position, behind the old alleyways and directly in front of the pier from which boats depart. Built in 1929 as a residence, the Liberty-style building in the center of the promenade in Rapallo became a hotel in the 1930s. A destination for tourists and illustrious personalities of Italian high society, the Miramare has often been the scene of social events and important cultural events.

In 2015, a major restoration of the building and rooms began, bringing the Miramare back to its former glory. The new project included the restaurant, bistro, and, in several steps, all the hotel rooms. At the end of the renovation, the hotel was granted a higher rating from 3 to 4 stars.
