Description
Founded in 1449 by the Minor Friars of the Order of St. Francis, the convent is located near the town center, close to a forest and a perennial spring, fully observing the customs of the Observants.
As of today, the structure, which is in a state of semi-abandonment, as only two friars reside there, has been the subject of an agreement between the HGM company and the Order of the Minor Friars in order to promote a development project through the partial conversion of the structure into a hotel.
The project includes a conservative restoration, intervening only where strictly necessary, adapting the services to the convent and respecting the history and culture of the place.
