Description
The proposed project involves the restoration of a mid-19th century farmhouse, with the demolition of incongruous buildings on the lot, as well as the recovery and enhancement of the land and olive grove, and the construction of a short internal road to serve the residential units and the management of the land and olive grove.
A decorative scheme will be created that is compatible with the building's typology and in line with other buildings of the same type in the area. The openings will be slightly enlarged to enjoy the surrounding greenery and nature.
On the third floor, three new balconies will be built with a symmetrical layout on the main facade, one in the center on the third floor and two on the second floor on either side. This layout is quite common in buildings of the same type and gives greater harmony to the facade. Considering that the house has been raised over the years, making it disproportionate, a porch will be built to visually soften its strong verticality.
Six high-end apartments will be created inside the villa, and the careful attention given to the interior layout has made it possible to provide each residential unit with a private outdoor space.
